Why this page existsStrong routing is not the problem. The setup is.

Hey, I'm Derek. I build RunSheet.

OptimoRoute is a serious optimizer. The knock on it, in every note we keep, is the same: the routing is strong, and the setup is where a dispatcher who isn't technical gets stuck.

If you're the owner who also builds the routes, answers the "where's my delivery?" call, and eats the refund when a customer swears a package never showed, you don't have a spare afternoon to configure software. You have drivers standing in the lot at 6am waiting on you.

So here's the test I'd put any route planner through, mine included: sign up, add this morning's real stops, and see whether your drivers have their routes before their coffee goes cold. With RunSheet, that is the whole setup. The sheet on the right is what your first morning looks like.

The honest version

Pick the one built for your size

Pick RunSheet when

  • You run 2 to 15 drivers and you're the dispatcher, the owner, and the guy who answers the phone.
  • You want today's route dispatched today, without a setup call.
  • Your drivers turn over, and you'd rather text a link than walk each new hire through an app install.
  • You have COD stops or "not before 10am" customers and you're tired of re-sequencing by hand.
  • You've eaten a refund you shouldn't have, and you want timestamped proof next time.

Pick OptimoRoute when

  • You run a large fleet with real capacity planning to do.
  • You need enterprise integrations: ERP, WMS, an API-first setup.
  • Your operation has outgrown what a flat small-fleet plan covers.

And if you run 200 trucks with an in-house WMS, look at Onfleet. It's built for carrier operations. RunSheet isn't, on purpose.

What it costs

One flat price. Drivers included.

Starter
$49/mo
3 drivers, 100 routes a month, 30 days of history. Signature and barcode proof included; delivery photos are an add-on. The solo courier or the shop doing its own deliveries.
Growth
$149/mo
10 drivers, 300 routes a month, 90 days of history. The team that outgrew the group text.
Business
$359/mo
50 drivers, unlimited routes, a full year of history. Regional courier or small 3PL.

Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial and no card. Extra drivers are $10 per driver per month on any plan. Pay annually and you get about two months free: Starter $468, Growth $1,428, Business $3,446 per year. Enterprise is custom.

Straight answers

What people ask before they switch

Is OptimoRoute hard to set up?
In every note we keep on it, setup is where a non-technical dispatcher gets stuck. We can't speak for their onboarding today, so run the same test on both: sign up and see whether you can dispatch this morning's real stops before the drivers finish their coffee. With RunSheet that takes under 2 minutes.
OptimoRoute vs Routific: which one for a small delivery business?
Both are strong optimizers built for larger operations. As of mid-2026 our notes say Routific's price jumps sharply between tiers and its driver mobile experience takes extra setup, while OptimoRoute's friction is setup complexity. If you're shopping for an easy route planner for a small delivery business, with 2 to 15 drivers and you doing the setup, RunSheet is built for exactly that size: flat plans, a driver link instead of an app, and a route dispatched in under 2 minutes.
Do my drivers have to install an app?
No. Each driver gets a link and opens it in the browser on the phone he already has, iPhone or Android. He sees his stops in order, taps to navigate, marks each stop done, and captures a signature or barcode scan on every plan, plus a delivery photo on Growth and up. A driver who quits doesn't take the route knowledge with him. It's in your dashboard.
How do I get my stops into RunSheet?
Type them in, snap a photo of a paper manifest and let the OCR turn it into stops, or connect Shopify so paid orders land as stops on their own. Your customer list imports from CSV or Excel, so repeat addresses are already there when you build the route.
What happens after the 7-day trial?
You pick a plan. There's no card on file during the trial, so nothing gets charged unless you decide to keep going. Starter is $49 a month with 3 drivers included.
What if I outgrow the small-fleet plans?
Business covers 50 drivers with unlimited routes at $359 a month, and Enterprise goes past that. Extra drivers on any plan are $10 per driver per month. If you're running 200 trucks with an in-house WMS, look at Onfleet.
